Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Cashier to join our retail team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing excellent customer service while handling transactions accurately and efficiently. Duties
- Greet customers warmly and provide assistance as needed.
- Process sales transactions quickly and accurately using the cash register.
- Handle cash, credit, and debit transactions while ensuring proper cash handling procedures.
- Maintain knowledge of current promotions, sales, and store policies to assist customers effectively.
- Stock shelves and ensure the sales floor is organized and well-presented.
- Manage food orders and deliver food safely to guests as well as support back of house team in managing dishes and cleanliness.
- Address customer inquiries or concerns promptly to enhance customer satisfaction.
- Perform basic math calculations for sales transactions and returns.
Experience
- Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage with customers effectively.
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and retail math calculations.
- Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply as it can enhance customer interactions.
- Experience in supervising or training staff is a plus.
