Georgetown Seafood is seeking a positive, cheerful, energetic and professional server to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for customer service and creating exceptional experiences for patrons.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages
- Interact with customers, take orders, and provide recommendations
- Operate cash registers and handle payments accurately
- Maintain a clean and organized food work area
- Check customers' identification and confirm legal drinking age
- Monitor inventory levels and restock bar-food supplies as needed
Skills
- Strong sales skills to upsell and promote specials
- Proficient in using a cash register
- Excellent customer service abilities
- Knowledge of food handling procedures
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Understanding of food safety regulations
- Able to obtain manager food certification and liquor certification with 30 days of employment
- Effective time management skills
- Familiarity with retail math for handling transactions
- Punctuality and performing as a drug free employee is a must
