Core Responsibilities:
Transaction Processing:
- Operate POS systems, scanners, and payment terminals with 100% accuracy
- Process various payment methods including cash, credit/debit, mobile payments, and gift cards
- Handle returns/exchanges following company policies
- Maintain cash drawer integrity and complete end-of-shift reconciliation
- Apply discounts, coupons, and loyalty rewards appropriately
Customer Service Excellence:
- Greet all customers warmly and provide prompt, friendly service
- Answer product location and pricing inquiries
- Resolve minor customer concerns and escalate issues when necessary
- Promote store loyalty programs and current promotions
- Maintain knowledge of store layout and basic product information
Operational Support:
- Keep checkout area clean, organized, and fully stocked
- Assist with light merchandising and facing products
- Support inventory counts and price verification
- Follow all security procedures including ID verification
- Adhere to company policies regarding age-restricted items

Qualifications:
Essential Requirements:
- Minimum 16 years of age (18 for certain locations)
- Basic math and computer proficiency
