Job Overview:
We are seeking a friendly and customer-oriented individual to join our team as a Cashier & Food Prep Assistant. In this role, you will be responsible for providing excellent service to our customers, handling transactions, and ensuring a positive shopping experience.
Duties:
- Provide warm, professional customer service
- Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently using the cash register or point-of-sale (POS) system
- Assist with meal prep and condiment restocking
- Maintain cleanliness and organization
- Keep the energy high in a fast-paced environment
Requirements:
- Valid driver’s license & reliable transportation
- Positive attitude and team spirit
- Teachable and willing to support wherever needed
- Practical judgment and everyday know-how
- Ability to follow instructions and stay on task
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
- Previous experience in sales or customer service (preferred)
- Familiarity with POS systems and cash registers (a plus)
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
Note: This position requires standing for extended periods and may involve lifting or moving items up to 50 pounds.
