Job Summary:
We’re looking for a friendly, reliable, and energetic Cashier / Front of House Team Member to join our quick-service restaurant team. You will be the face of the restaurant, greeting guests, processing orders accurately, handling payments, and ensuring a clean and welcoming environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet customers promptly and courteously.
- Take accurate food and drink orders using the POS system.
- Handle cash, credit/debit transactions, and issue receipts or change.
- Answer customer questions about the menu, promotions, and services.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the front of house, including counters, condiment stations, and seating areas.
- Ensure accuracy and speed in order processing and communication with the kitchen.
- Support the team in maintaining food safety and hygiene standards.
- Assist with opening/closing duties as needed.
- Uphold company policies and deliver excellent customer service.
Qualifications:
- Previous customer service or cashier experience preferred, but not required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask.
- Basic math skills and familiarity with POS systems a plus.
- Dependable and punctual.
- Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset.
Working Conditions:
- Must be able to stand for extended periods.
- Occasional lifting up to 25 lbs.
- Flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
