Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and friendly Cashier to join our team in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing excellent customer service while efficiently handling transactions and maintaining a clean and organized workspace. Responsibilities
- Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS.
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers, answering questions, and addressing any concerns.
- Handle cash, credit, and debit transactions with precision, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed.
- Assist in food preparation and ensure adherence to food safety and sanitation standards.
- Upsell menu items and promote special offers to enhance the customer experience.
- Maintain cleanliness in the cashier area, including bussing tables when necessary.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and accurate order fulfillment.
- Support inventory management by monitoring stock levels and reporting shortages as needed.
Skills
- Strong background in food service or retail environments, particularly in quick service or fast food restaurants.
- Experience with cash handling and basic math skills for accurate transaction processing.
- Familiarity with culinary practices, food preparation techniques, and food safety regulations.
- Excellent time management skills to handle busy periods effectively while maintaining quality service.
- Proficient in using POS systems; experience with Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus.
- Ability to upsell products effectively while providing a positive customer experience.
- Strong communication skills with a focus on customer service excellence.

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $13.00 - $16.00 per hour
