Duties
- Greet customers warmly and assist them with their shopping needs.
- Process sales transactions accurately using the cash register.
- Handle cash, credit, and debit transactions while ensuring proper cash handling procedures.
- Maintain an organized and stocked sales floor by replenishing merchandise as needed.
- Provide product knowledge to customers and assist in upselling items.
- Supervise junior staff members when necessary, ensuring adherence to store policies.
- Communicate effectively with team members and management regarding inventory levels and customer feedback.
- Perform basic math calculations for transactions and inventory management.
Experience
- Previous experience in retail sales or a similar customer service role is preferred.
- Strong cash handling skills with attention to detail in processing transactions.
- Basic math skills are essential for accurate sales processing and inventory management.
