Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and customer-oriented Cashier/Sales associate to join our team in a dynamic retail environment. Responsibilities
- Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system to process customer transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers, answering questions, and addressing concerns.
- Assist with product demonstrations to enhance customer engagement and promote sales.
- Maintain a clean and organized checkout area while ensuring all merchandise is properly stocked and displayed.
- Engage in upselling techniques to maximize sales opportunities during customer interactions.
- Supervise and train new staff members as needed, fostering a collaborative team environment.
- Handle cash transactions with precision, ensuring adherence to cash handling policies.
- Perform basic math calculations for accurate change distribution and daily cash reconciliation.
- Support merchandising efforts by arranging products attractively on shelves and displays.
- Utilize effective phone etiquette when answering calls related to store inquiries or customer service issues.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in retail sales or cashiering is preferred.
- Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply, as this can enhance customer interactions.

- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and retail math calculations.
