Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and motivated Cashier/Sales Associate to join our team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for customers, providing exceptional service while handling transactions and assisting with product inquiries. Duties
- Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently to process customer transactions accurately.
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers, answering questions, and addressing concerns.
- Assist with product demonstrations to enhance customer understanding and engagement.
- Maintain a clean and organized checkout area while ensuring that all products are properly stocked.
- Supervise and train new team members as needed to ensure adherence to company policies and procedures.
- Perform basic math calculations for transactions and ensure accurate cash handling.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals and improve store performance.
- Support inventory management by restocking shelves and assisting with stock organization.
Requirements
- Previous experience in retail sales is preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse clientele.
- Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately.
- Bilingual abilities are a plus, enhancing communication with a broader customer base.
- Familiarity with POS systems is advantageous but not mandatory; training will be provided.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills related to product knowledge and sales techniques.
