Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and friendly Customer Service Associate / Cashier to join our team. This role is essential in providing exceptional service to our customers while efficiently handling transactions. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment.
Duties
- Greet customers warmly and assist them with their inquiries.
- Process transactions accurately using the Point of Sale (POS) system.
- Handle cash and credit transactions, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed.
- Maintain a clean and organized checkout area.
- Provide product demonstrations and assist customers in making informed purchasing decisions.
- Engage in upselling techniques to enhance customer experience and increase sales.
- Address customer concerns promptly and professionally via phone or in-person.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals and maintain store standards.
Skills
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on creating positive experiences for customers.
- Proficient in operating POS systems and handling cash transactions.
- Excellent phone etiquette for effective communication with customers.
- Basic math skills for accurate transaction processing.
- Experience with product demonstrations to showcase items effectively.
