Overview
We are seeking a Customer Service Associate / Cashier to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional customer service and be comfortable handling transactions at the point of sale.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers and provide excellent service throughout their shopping experience
- Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently using a Point of Sale (POS) system
- Maintain a clean and organized checkout area
- Assist with stocking shelves and monitoring inventory levels
- Answer customer inquiries in person, over the phone, or via email
- Promote sales and special promotions to customers
- Handle cash, credit, and other forms of payment securely
Requirements
- Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred
- Proficiency in using a Point of Sale (POS) system
- Strong communication skills and phone etiquette
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Bilingual skills are a plus
- Knowledge of retail math for handling transactions accurately
- Ability to supervise and coordinate cashier activities effectively
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $12.00 - $15.00 per hour
