Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and friendly Customer Service Associate / Cashier to join our team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, providing exceptional service and ensuring a pleasant shopping experience. You will handle transactions, assist with product inquiries, and contribute to a welcoming environment in our Beer & Wine store. Duties
- Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently and accurately for customer transactions.
- Provide excellent customer service by effectively communicating with customers and addressing their needs.
- Handle cash transactions and maintain accurate cash handling procedures.
- Assist in upselling products and promoting sales to enhance customer satisfaction and store performance.
- Supervise the checkout area to ensure smooth operations during peak hours.
- Stock shelves and maintain product displays to ensure a well-organized shopping environment.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve store goals and enhance overall customer experience.
Experience
- Previous experience in a grocery store, retail store, smoke shop or liquor store is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with cash handling procedures and POS systems is advantageous.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
