Job Summary:
Responsible for cleaning and maintaining appearance of casino to enhance guest experience by following company policies and procedures.
Essential Job Functions:
- Clean slot machines, chairs, flat surfaces, ash trays and urns
- Maintain all floors by vacuuming, mopping, sweeping, and removing spills, gum and debris
- Clean all wood and glass surfaces, pictures, doors, walls, decorations, mirrors, television sets, signs
- Clean and maintain housekeeping equipment including storage
- Deep clean all surfaces and fixtures in restrooms and replenish all hand soap, tissues, seat tissues and
- Stock all supply closets, notify lead of low stock levels
- Vacuum gaming tables including the wipe of any surfaces
- Clean surfaces and floors in offices and cage
- Remove all trash and hazardous waste to proper receptacles
- Communicate by two-way radio when needed, and answer any housekeeping calls in a timely manner
- Report maintenance concerns to supervisor or MOD
- Rotate through any work stations as assigned by schedule or by supervisor
- Sweeping and trash pick of exterior of building
- All other duties that may be assigned
Work Environment:
· Must be willing to work any shift when necessary, including weekends and holidays
· Must be able to tolerate areas containing second hand smoke
· Must be willing to work with possible exposure to bloodborne pathogens
Job Requirements:
· Must be able to speak, read, write and understand English
· Must be able to work independently One year previous porter experience preferred
· Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and equipment preferred
· Must be at least 21 years of age
Physical Requirements:
· Must be able to push, pull, and carry up to 50lbs
· Must be able to stoop, bend, reach and pull
· Must be able to continuously maneuver around casino floor
· Must be able to stand and walk for entire shift
