Mission Objectives ? The IT Developer will deliver technical expertise supporting the Information Resources Management and Technical Services Unit (IRM&TS) at CBO. The role's primary objective is to ensure the efficient development, deployment, and maintenance of CBO software applications in support of CBO?s analytic mission and operational needs.
Position Responsibility Summary:
- Support IRM&TS management by providing in-depth technical expertise in software development.
- Collaborate with CBO development teams to analyze and resolve technical issues and propose optimizations.
- Develop and maintain application and backend services (C#, ASP.NET MVC, Web API, JavaScript, jQuery, Node.js, CSS, AWS, SQL, GitHub Enterprise).
- Automate tasks using scripting languages?including Bash, PowerShell, or Perl.
- Design and maintain user interfaces with HTML, JavaScript, and CSS, leveraging libraries (jQuery, Node.js, Chart.js, Bootstrap, Ajax).
- Develop and maintain relational database elements?stored procedures, functions, performance tuning (Advanced SQL).
- Build web applications using ASP.NET Core (including MVC, REST APIs, custom middleware, dependency injection; apply security and Razor view syntax).
- Use Bootstrap for responsive layouts and customize themes using CSS and SASS.
- Monitor, test, and debug software performance; deliver actionable solutions to problem areas.
- Deploy, upgrade, and maintain CBO software, supporting local/virtual/cloud environments.
- Design and maintain deployment scripts, automate code formatting/testing, and manage artifact repositories.
- Prepare and contribute to technical documentation as required.
- Other technical support assignments as directed to meet operational needs.
