Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Behavior Technician to join our team. In this role, you will work closely with children and individuals with disabilities, providing support through behavioral therapy and interventions. Your primary focus will be on implementing treatment plans, collecting data, and assisting in patient assessments to promote positive behavioral changes.
Responsibilities
- Implement individualized treatment plans designed by behavior analysts or supervisors.
- Conduct patient assessments to evaluate behavioral needs and progress.
- Collect and document data on patient behavior and responses to interventions.
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with regulatory standards.
- Work collaboratively with families and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
- Provide support during diagnostic evaluations and assist in the development of behavioral health strategies.
- Engage with children and individuals with disabilities in a compassionate manner, fostering a supportive environment.
Qualifications
- Experience working with children or individuals with disabilities is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of behavioral therapy techniques and principles is preferred.
- Strong skills in data collection, medical documentation, and patient assessment.
- Familiarity with behavioral health concepts and diagnostic evaluations.
- Ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and team members.
- A commitment to maintaining confidentiality and adhering to ethical standards in healthcare.
- Previous experience in medical records management is a plus.

Pay: $16.00 - $18.47 per hour
