Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Nurse to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality resident care, lead and supervise nursing staff, and contribute to the overall well-being of our residents. Duties
- Assess and monitor resident health by completing physical assessments and supporting documentation.
- Oversee administration of medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Update and prepare assessments required for care conferences and quarterly reviews.
- Supervise nursing staff to ensure adherence to facility policies and procedures as well as standards of care.
- Ensure adherence to safety and infection control protocols to maintain a safe environment.
Skills
- Passion for resident care and a positive work environment.
- Established leadership skills and a demonstrated ability to foster team work.
- Proficient in general nursing practices with experience in long term care settings preferred.
- Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with residents, families, and healthcare teams.
- Strong problem-solving skills to address resident needs promptly and effectively.
- Commitment to maintaining high standards of care while fostering a supportive environment for residents.
Schedule and Pay
- Hours and schedule somewhat flexible upon hire; will consider part time or full time depending on the ideal candidate
- Pay will be competitive and commensurate with candidate's level of experience and licensure
