Full-Time & Part-Time Positions Available
What You’ll Do:
- Provide a comprehensive orientation for new clients within 48 hours of admission, including program rules, expectations, and treatment plans.
- Facilitate educational and psychoeducational groups to support client growth and skill development.
- Process client admissions per intake protocols and complete all necessary documentation.
- Administer Urine Analysis (UA), ensure proper documentation and sample transfer procedures.
- Maintain accurate progress notes and provide client updates as requested.
- Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) and support recreational engagement.
- Transport clients to appointments, A.A. meetings, and other recovery-related activities.
- Lead and participate in recreational and wellness activities.
- Complete incident reports and ensure documentation is submitted in a timely manner.
- Support daily operations, including housekeeping and meal service, to ensure a safe, structured environment.
- Provide receptionist coverage and relay messages between clients and staff.
- Identify and de-escalate potentially aggressive behavior using appropriate intervention techniques.
- Document basic medical information, including vital signs and client weight.
- Participate in treatment team meetings and provide relevant input for care planning.
- Connect clients with aftercare resources and support re-entry into the community.
- Assist in crisis management related to emotional, social, or health needs.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Education, Experience, and Skills:
- Certified Peer Recovery Support Specialist (PRS) in the state of Iowa or eligible for certification.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
- 1+ year of experience in behavioral health, substance use treatment, or a healthcare setting is strongly preferred.
- Valid driver’s license required and reliable transportation for client transport duties.
