Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN)/ Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to providing high-quality patient care in various settings, including long-term care, assisted living, and acute care environments. The LVN will work collaboratively with healthcare professionals to ensure the well-being of patients, particularly those with complex medical needs.
Duties
- Provide direct patient care under the supervision of registered nurses and physicians.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring compliance with safety protocols.
- Conduct patient assessments and monitor vital signs to evaluate health status.
- Assist in the development and implementation of individualized care plans.
- Perform IV infusions, catheterization, and other nursing procedures as required.
- Maintain accurate medical documentation and records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care, including discharge planning and case management.
- Educate patients and families on health management, medication administration, and post-care instructions.
- Support patients with developmental disabilities, Alzheimer’s care, dementia care, and other specialized needs.
Qualifications
- Current Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) license in good standing.
- Experience in critical care, long-term care, or assisted living preferred.
- Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems such as Epic, Cerner, or Athenahealth is advantageous.
- Knowledge of medical terminology, ICD coding (ICD-9/ICD-10), and CPT coding is beneficial.
- Strong skills in patient assessment, medication administration, phlebotomy, venipuncture, and basic life support.
- Experience working in various settings such as hospitals (including Level I/II trauma centers), outpatient clinics, home care, or urgent care facilities is a plus.
- Ability to work effectively with diverse populations including pediatrics and geriatrics.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team.

Pay: $29.00 - $42.00 per hour
