Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Line Cook/Station chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and a commitment to providing high-quality dishes in a fast-paced restaurant environment. As a Chef de Partie, you will play a crucial role in food preparation, cooking, and ensuring the overall quality of our menu items. This position requires strong teamwork and the ability to work efficiently under pressure.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and presentation standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to food safety and sanitation guidelines.
- Assist in inventory control by monitoring stock levels and reporting shortages or discrepancies.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours.
- Supervise and train junior kitchen staff as needed, fostering a positive team environment.
- Participate in banquet preparations and special events as required.
- Ensure proper food handling techniques are followed at all times.
- Assist with shift management duties, including coordinating tasks among team members.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a cook or in other kitchen roles within the food service industry.
- Strong knowledge of food safety standards and best practices in food handling.
- Familiarity with restaurant management principles, including inventory control.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
- Experience in supervising or managing kitchen staff is preferred but not required.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends.

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
