In this role, you will play a key part in plant operations by regenerating filtration resins, preparing mobile water treatment units for field deployment, and performing quality control inspections. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with chemical handling, mechanical systems, and mobile equipment preparation, along with a commitment to safety and team collaboration.
Key Responsibilities:
- Regenerate ion exchange resins and other filtration media according to standard operating procedures (SOPs)
- Prepare and load mobile water treatment units, including resin loading, test kits, meters, pumps, and necessary materials
- Conduct equipment checks to ensure systems are field-ready and meet quality control standards
- Perform quality control inspections on mobile units prior to dispatch
- Safely handle chemicals such as NaOH, HCL, NaCl, and oversee chemical offloading and transfer to storage tanks
- Operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment as needed
- Assist with general plant operations duties to ensure continuous and safe workflow
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safety-compliant work environment
- Accurately complete documentation related to chemical use, QC checks, and unit readiness
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required; trade school or technical training preferred
- 1–3 years of experience in water treatment, chemical handling, or plant operations
- Experience with ion exchange systems and filtration media regeneration is a plus
- Familiarity with handling hazardous chemicals and following OSHA safety protocols
- Ability to read and follow technical documents and SOPs
- Valid forklift certification or willingness to obtain
- Strong attention to detail and quality
- Must be able to lift 50+ lbs and work in physically demanding environments

Pay: $19.50 per hour
