We are looking for a Child Care Teacher Assistant/floater to assist Lead staff in encouraging the healthy intellectual and psychological growth of the children in our facility in a respectful, nurturing and caring environment. You will supervise children and maintain a safe environment, while also motivating them to use their mental capacities. Other duties include , assist the teacher with lesson plans, preparing and/or serving meals, changing diapers, etc.
Responsibilities
- Provide basic care and caregiving activities
- Remain in constant communication with Teacher
- Observe children’s interactions
- Collaborate with other colleagues
Qualifications
- 6 months of previous experience (preferred)
- Strong communication and time management skills
- Patience, flexibility and love for children
- Ability to cope with a stressful environment
Requirements
- Obtain certification in first aid and CPR w/in 6 months of employment
- High School Diploma or GED (Required)
- Ability to pass background check
- Proof of Covid-19 vaccination
- Proof of MMR vaccination
- TB Test
- Must participate in at least 10 star hours annually
- Drug Test as Required
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: Up to $34,652.80 per year
