Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Teacher's Assistant to support our educators in providing a nurturing and effective learning environment for students. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children and a strong understanding of early childhood education principles. This role involves assisting teachers in lesson planning, classroom management, and providing individualized support to students.
Responsibilities
- Assist teachers in implementing lesson plans and educational activities tailored to individual student needs.
- Help manage classroom behavior and maintain a positive learning environment.
- Provide one-on-one assistance to students to enhance their learning experience.
- Foster a safe and inclusive atmosphere that promotes childhood development and encourages social interaction among students.
- Communicate effectively with teachers, parents, and other staff regarding student progress and needs.
- Supervise students during activities, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
- Assist with daily classroom tasks, including organization, preparation of materials, and maintaining cleanliness.
Requirements
- Early childhood assistants shall have a high school diploma or GED.
- Experience working with children in educational or childcare settings is preferred.
- Strong communication skills to effectively engage with students, parents, and colleagues.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated.

Pay: $15.00 - $15.50 per hour
