In this important role, you’ll be at the forefront of helping families in need by investigating child abuse and neglect cases, providing support and resources, and ensuring children’s safety and well-being.
What You’ll Do:
- Investigate and assess complaints related to child abuse or neglect.
- Work directly with children and families to provide critical services and referrals.
- Collaborate with law enforcement and other community agencies to ensure safety and stability.
- Document investigations and prepare reports for court hearings.
- Offer crisis intervention services and help families maintain stability.
- Participate in training and ongoing development to stay current in the field.
What We’re Looking For:
- A Bachelor’s degree in human services or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Passion for helping others and making a positive impact on children’s lives.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including on-call and emergency services when needed.
