Job Summary
As a Chimney Sweep, you will perform chimney inspections, cleanings, and repairs while educating homeowners on proper maintenance and safety. You’ll work hands-on with industry-leading tools and training to ensure every job meets the highest standards. No experience? No problem! We provide comprehensive training and certifications to help you build a lasting career.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform inspections, cleaning, maintenance, and minor repairs on chimneys, fireplaces, and venting systems.
- Diagnose and document issues with chimney structures and recommend solutions
- Provide expert advice and education to customers on chimney safety and maintenance.
- Utilize tools, equipment, and technology to complete jobs efficiently and safely.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including vehicles and tools
- Adhere to company safety standards and industry regulations
- Work in varying weather conditions and at heights (on ladders and rooftops)
Qualifications & Skills
- Experience in chimney services, construction, HVAC, or roofing is a plus (but not required – we train!)
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- Excellent customer service and communication abilities
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs, climb ladders, and work at heights safely
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Willingness to learn and obtain industry certifications
