Chiropractor - Prenatal Exp. Preferred

AlignSD Wellness Center is a women’s health-focused clinic that specializes in perinatal and pediatric care and we’re looking for a chiropractor to join our centrally located Mission Valley facility. Our current group is an integrated team of professionals servicing the areas of chiropractic care, massage therapy, nutrition & weight loss counseling, and sauna therapy. We are seeking an experienced chiropractor who is skilled in working with pregnant women, pediatric care is a plus. We offer competitive wages, which are dependent on experience of the practitioner.

What we’re seeking:

We’re looking for caring and motivated professionals to make AlignSD the go-to resource for fertility, perinatal, and pediatric wellness needs in San Diego. As such we are seeking

· A part-time associate chiropractor who will train with the owner and grow into a full-time position as their client base expands. Our goal is to hire a DC who will join our team long-term.

· Practitioner must be comfortable and have experience working with pregnant women (Webster Certified preferred), pediatric knowledge/experience a plus, or have the desire to train to become proficient working with perinatal and peds clients.

Responsibility:

· Consult with patients by reviewing and recording medical histories and examining patients, as indicated

· Evaluate patients’ neuromusculoskeletal systems using chiropractic assessment and diagnosis to determine neuromusculoskeletal and spine related conditions

· Perform manual adjustments to the spine, or other articulations of the body

· Educate patients on the benefits of routine chiropractic care. Provide a recommended course of treatment

· Arrange for diagnostic x-rays/advanced imaging to be taken, when medically necessary

· Analyze x-rays/advanced imaging to locate the sources of patients' difficulties and to rule out fractures or diseases as sources of problems

· Establish positive doctor-patient relationships

· Maintain accurate and timely patient records

Qualifications needed:

· 4-year bachelor’s degree from an accredited college

· A Doctor of Chiropractic degree from an accredited chiropractic college

· Valid California DC license

· Active Malpractice Insurance in California
