We’re looking for a Service Advisor who can bridge the gap between our talented restoration technicians and our valued clients, thrive in a fast-paced environment where communication and organization are key.
Responsibilities
As a Restoration Service Advisor, you will:
- Be the primary point of contact for customers during their project.
- Provide clear, professional updates on restoration progress, timelines, and budgets.
- Translate technical details into easy-to-understand communication for clients.
- Build estimates, track parts orders, and manage project boards to keep jobs moving.
- Collaborate daily with our technicians, fabricators, and paint/body specialists.
- Deliver the level of service and transparency that Kinnaman’s Hot Rods is known for.
What We’re Looking For
- Strong automotive knowledge, especially with classics, customs, and performance upgrades.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple projects at once.
- Familiarity with shop management systems and/or digital project tracking.
- Passion for the hot rod and restoration industry.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in an auto service advisor position is preferred.
- Familiarity with various automotive systems including transmissions, diesel engines, suspension systems, air brakes, shocks & struts, tire services, and auto body repair.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with clients.
- Proficient in service writing and auto estimating processes.
- Experience in sales within the automotive sector is a plus.
- Ability to handle cash transactions responsibly.

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
