Central Missouri Community Action (CMCA) is seeking a caring, energetic individual to join our team as Temporary Classroom Aide in our Head Start and Early Head Start classrooms. This is a great opportunity to support children's development, assist teaching staff, and gain valuable experience in early childhood education-even if you're only available for a limited time. Pay is $13.75. Location is Gravois Mills, MO.

What You'll Do:
Assist teachers in implementing classroom activities and daily routines
Help supervise and engage children in a safe, nurturing environment
Support children's learning, social-emotional growth, and daily needs
Create a clean and welcoming classroom environment
Assist with meal times and hygiene routines
Communicate positively with parents and classroom staff
Follow all safety, confidentiality, and licensing standards
Who You Are:
Patient, reliable, and enthusiastic about working with infants, toddlers, or preschoolers
Able to follow guidance from teachers and administrators
A team player who is flexible and eager to help where needed
Comfortable maintaining a physically active role (e.g., lifting up to 40 lbs., sitting on the floor with children, assisting with diapering and toileting)
Qualifications:
Experience working with young children or low-income families preferred
Early childhood certification is a plus
Must have a valid Missouri driver's license and reliable daily transportation
Schedule:
Temporary, flexible scheduling. May include part-time or full-time hours based on center needs. Typically, Tuesday through Friday during center hours.
