Overview
Birchwood Country Club is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in various environments, ensuring that spaces are welcoming and hygienic. This role requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Responsibilities
- Perform cleaning duties in assigned areas, including offices, restrooms, locker rooms, pool area and common areas.
- Dust and wipe down surfaces, including furniture and fixtures.
- Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors to maintain cleanliness.
- Empty trash receptacles and replace liners as needed.
- Clean windows, mirrors, and other glass surfaces to ensure clarity.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.
- Follow established cleaning protocols and safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
- Maintain cleaning equipment and supplies in good condition.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in cleaning or custodial work is preferred but not required.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify areas that need cleaning or maintenance.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision as well as collaboratively within a team.
- Good time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks that may require lifting, bending, or standing for extended periods.
Job Types: Part-time, Seasonal
Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
