The Client Care Coordinator is a dynamic position at FirstLight Home Care that performs duties related to driving new business and maintaining quality assurance of care. This position works closely with both clients and caregivers to offer support, training, and quality assurance.
This position will support the Overland Park, KS and Kansas City, MO office locations .

Position Overview
The Client Care Coordinator will work directly with clients and families to assess needs, create service plans, and coordinate with caregiving teams to ensure ongoing quality and compliance. This is a hands-on, relationship-focused position offering a unique opportunity to support vulnerable populations in maintaining independence at home.
Responsibilities
This position serves as a first touch point for new clients, and as an account manager for existing clients. In addition, the position plays a key role in identifying client needs and matching appropriate services.
- Conduct prospective new client intake calls, determine client needs, and schedule care assessments.
- Express proficiency in all FirstLight Home Care services, policies, benefits, and market differentiators.
- Create and maintain client care plans through the entry of accurate client data into FirstLight Home Care software systems
- Travel within designated territory to perform initial and ongoing in-home evaluation, caregiver introductions, coordination, and supervision of client services
- Accurately identify and report changes in client condition to agency employees involved in the client’s care plan
- Drive company print and online review campaigns by successfully capturing client feedback into appropriate marketing channels.
- Participate in the quality assurance reviews and evaluations of the agency’s services
- Assist scheduler with scheduling of shifts by matching caregiver qualifications and availability to clients’ needs
- Supervise, coach and train caregivers to ensure all client care needs are being met.
- Work toward continuous quality improvement and provide unparalleled customer service for all FirstLight Home Care clients.
Qualifications and Experience
- Experience working in geriatrics, i.e., home care, home health, hospice, general health care, or other senior-related field highly preferred
- Bachelor's Degree in Healthcare related field highly preferred
- Knowledgeable in assisting patients with activities of daily living.
- Must have the ability to work independently, maintain HIPAA confidentiality of information, and meet deadlines
- Proficient in Windows, Microsoft Office, G Suite.
- Highly organized and able to prioritize responsibilities - managing necessary tasks and issues with a strong sense of urgency.
- Results driven having the ability to independently take problems and create solutions - someone who takes personal ownership of their work.
- Flexibility to adapt and change as priorities evolve in a rapidly growing environment.
