Summary:
The Client Services Manager works with the sales team (including corporate and group sales), and clients to ensure that contracts are executed and client relationships are managed to the benefit of the organization.
Responsibilities
- Ensure contracts are executed according to contract requirements, including management of game/event itinerary
- Coordinate scripts for matches to ensure all gameday sponsor assets are appropriately included and able to be executed. Follow up post match to ensure all were executed as promised to the sponsor
- Direct the end of season proof of performance process including but not limited to completing and/or approving proof of performance presentations and completing online submissions to USL for completion of national contracts.
- Assist in maintenance of companywide sales related business systems/software as assigned, including implementation of new software/systems or elimination of outdated software/systems.
- Track group sales inventory
- Coordinate execution of groups sold – including distribution of tickets and preparation/execution of hospitality
- Manage and communicate hospitality and catering needs with food and beverage provider
- Act as back-up to ticket operations for all events
- Collaborate with ticket operations staff to convert inbound customer inquiries to sales and to resolve concerns/issues with customers
- Build and foster relationships with past, current, and potential new clients
- Generate communications to all sponsors and group clients regarding upcoming event opportunities and usage of tickets/suites that are part of their contract
- Direct the creation and development of comprehensive proposals and presentations to meet clients’ objectives
- Assist with planning and coordinating group events as needed
- Represent the organization at in-house ballpark events and off-site community events promoting ticket sales and the organization
- Maintain records of all customers and prospects by utilizing CRM tool
- Collaborate and interact with front office team to implement sponsorships and contract fulfillment, as well as to achieve sales objectives related to advertising, ticketing, marketing, etc.

Knowledge and Skill Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Sports Marketing, Marketing, Business or related field preferred
- At least two years of experience working in client services preferred
- At least one year of experience working in sales, marketing, or promotions preferred
- At least one year of experience working with a CRM system, Salesforce preferred
- Ability to present sales material to potential clients
- Ability to lead and collaborate in a team environment
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to solve problems quickly
- Attention to detail
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Good working knowledge of computer programs including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Internet, and database programs
- Valid driver’s license and ability to drive for organizational business
- Ability and willingness to work varied and long hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
