Anuvia is seeking Client Specialists to join our dedicated team in providing compassionate, high-quality care within our inpatient detox and residential services. As a Client Specialist, you’ll be a vital part of the treatment experience—offering direct client support, facilitating transitions, and promoting a safe, therapeutic environment.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver safe, timely, and client-centered care.
Complete client admissions and create service plans.
Secure, document, and manage client belongings and medications.
Monitor client safety through bed checks, room searches, UDS, and behavior observations.
Collaborate with clinical staff to assess client well-being.
Transition clients between levels of care and assist with discharges.
Support clients through educational and therapeutic activities.
Administer medications and provide CPR/First Aid as needed.
Maintain accurate documentation in electronic health records.
Attend shift reports and communicate client care information effectively.
Contribute to quality assurance and improvement initiatives.
Maintain professionalism, respect, and adherence to all policies and standards.
Client Specialist Career Path
Client Specialist 1: Entry-level with certification required within 60 days.
Client Specialist 2: Trained to assist and train others on key tasks.
Client Specialist 3: Med Tech Certification required within 90 days.
Client Specialist 4: Voluntary track for those pursuing CADCR status, including supervised clinical hours.
Client Specialist 5: Achieved CADCI credential with completed practicum and exam.
Qualified Professionals (QPs) are expected to fulfill additional duties including training, ASAM screenings, service planning, group facilitation, and direct care supervision.
Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED required.
At least 2 years of direct healthcare experience (preferably in substance use disorder treatment).
Certification: CADC preferred; Med Tech and other certifications may be required based on career level.
Valid NC or SC Driver’s License required.
Strong communication, time management, and interpersonal skills.
Proficient in using MS Office and electronic health record systems.
Work Environment & Physical Demands
Moderate noise level typical of a residential care setting.
Frequent sitting, walking, standing, and occasional lifting (up to 25 lbs).
Regular use of computers, phones, and other office equipment.
