The incumbent is responsible for the operational implementation and delivery of Health 1/1 readiness, key initiatives, and operational readiness. This role works closely with the Director of Health Services Optimization and across functional partners. The Implementation Manager for Health Service Optimization will serve multiple Medica stakeholders. This role understands, articulates and supports the organization’s mission, vision, goals and strategies while maintaining confidentiality of all privileged information. The incumbent is responsible for assisting the Health Services Program Directors and Managers in the implementation, operations and process improvement as assigned. Performs other duties as assigned.
Key Accountabilities:
Program Implementation, Delivery, and Oversight
- Develop and maintain relationships with key cross functional partners: including but limited to: IT, Product, and Operations, as well internal Clinical Services partners
- Key point of contact for internal and external business partners as it relates to key program delivery and 1/1 readiness
- Partners with IT Health Services Delivery Team, Product Managers, and Product Families to ensure timely delivery of projects related to Clinical Services delivery of CM, UM, AG cross functional programs.
- Manage and lead implementation strategy to include but not limited to: Program design based on Leadership direction and data driven analysis to present to leadership
- Responsible for leading cross departmental meetings and communication related to 1/1 readiness and program implementation
- Representative for Clinical & Health Services as assigned for 1/1 readiness and key projects for the department and the Enterprise
Cross functional Collaboration
- Work cross functional with business partner to achieve program delivery
- Create strong partner relationship to be successful
- Drive Clinical and Health Service business readiness by leading for success strategies
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in related field
- 7 years of related experience beyond degree
Skills and Abilities:
- Implementation and new capabilities delivery experience
- Demonstrated ability to think strategically and critically, with a strong focus on big-picture planning and effective implementation
- Program functions (workflow, eligibility, claims, etc.)
- Ability to lead and be a good role model, influence change, shape and initiate work with colleagues across the organization and external (care systems, community collaborations, and vendors) to achieve department goals.
- Ability to provide leadership based on teamwork, commitment & creative linkages with organizational business units, external vendors and care system representatives.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with all levels of the organization.
- Knowledge of computer applications, such as Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access, Outlook, Visio, Onenote, etc.), Microsoft Project and Vision, Access, and familiarity with using database systems
- Managing/Delegating/Measuring Work: Ability to develop and assign clear, appropriate objectives, accountabilities and measures working within cross functional workstreams. Ability to monitor and report progress; identify and address barriers
- Quality Focus: Commitment to continuous quality improvement in all aspects of work. Skilled user of quality tools and techniques
- Experience setting expectation and direction for program delivery
This position is an Office role, which requires an employee to work onsite, on average, 3 days per week. We are open to candidates located near one of the following office locations: Minnetonka, MN or Madison, WI.
The full salary range for this position is $98,400 - $168,600. Annual salary range placement will depend on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, education, work experience, applicable certifications and/or licensure, the position's scope and responsibility, internal pay equity and external market salary data.
