Colonial Behavioral Health serves the citizens of James City County, City of Poquoson, City of Williamsburg, and York County.
Colonial Behavioral Health is seeking a Clinical Manager to provide coordination, oversight, and direction for all Adult Outpatient (AOP) Individual and Group Counseling Services, IOP services, SUD Case Management, and AOP Peer Recovery Services.
Job Duties
- Provides individual, family, couples and group counseling and psychotherapy with adults.
- Development and implementation of strategies which maximize efficiencies and effectiveness on behalf of individual access, resource management, and empowerment
- Approved Clinical Supervisor (ACS) providing weekly clinical supervision to clinicians working towards licensure
- Monitoring staff through monthly chart reviews and monthly staff reports on productivity, size of individual caseloads, and others as assigned.
- Manages day to day oversight of the program through maintaining the counseling waitlist, maintaining motivational and counseling group schedules and waitlists, conducting a utilization review process, and others as assigned.
- Provides consultative clinical expertise and supervision to outpatient (Child & Adolescent and Adult) staff.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Work Schedule
Position works Monday thru Friday; no weekends. Limited Telework Opportunity available.
Qualifications (EEO)
- Clinical knowledge related to the assessment and treatment of those with mental health, substance use disorders and co-occurring MH/SA disorders.
- Working knowledge and ability to conduct supervision and meetings .
- Knowledge of and ability to manage program compliance with state and federal policies, regulations and laws pertaining to behavioral healthcare services, including, but not limited to licensing, community services, privacy, and human rights.
- Ability to maintain an objective, professional and calm relationship with individuals and groups in a stressful situation
- At least 3 years of clinical and supervisory experience in mental health and substance use disorder counseling required.
- Valid driver’s license is required.
- Master’s Degree in a human services field required.
- Must hold a valid license from the Board of Counseling or Board of Social Work ( LPC, LCSW ) required
- Approved Clinical Supervisor (ACS) licensure. Required
