The Insomnia and Sleep Institute of Arizona is expanding our team to include an additional full-time clinical psychologist to join our behavioral sleep medicine department. They will specifically assist with patients requiring counseling or cognitive behavioral therapy for insomnia, mood disorders affecting their sleep disorder, and CPAP compliance. The psychologist works collaboratively with the sleep physicians, PAs, and RTs at the practice. We offer a 4 day hosted clinic schedule with a 5th day as paid admin time (virtual or onsite).
Minimum Qualifications - Education/Experience Requirements
- Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Psychology or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).
- Prior experience with cognitive behavioral therapy for insomnia (CBT-I) and managing sleep patients is a must.
- Proficient in evidence-based treatments for sleep disorders as well as neuropsychological and/or psychological assessments.
- Licensure or license eligible as a psychologist in the State of Arizona.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in direct assessment and care of patients in an outpatient medical setting.
- Completion of a post-doctoral fellowship in psychology preferred.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $135,000.00 - $155,000.00 per year
