Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Clinical Research Assistant to join our dynamic research team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting clinical trials and research projects, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards while contributing to the advancement of medical knowledge. This position requires a strong foundation in clinical research. You’ll help deliver high-quality, patient-centered research while adhering to Good Clinical Practice (GCP) and site SOPs.
Duties
Clinical & Patient Support
- Demonstrate knowledge of the clinic's medical research studies as well as the diagnoses and medical terminology that is involved in each study.
- Complete source documents and obtain all information essential to each research visit.
- Interview patients and document medical history accurately.
- Measure vital signs: pulse rate, temperature, blood pressure, weight, and height and records information in patient’s charts.
- Update patient medical information in company's clinical trial management system.
- Perform electrocardiograph (EKG), and other equipment to administer routine diagnostic test (e.g., spirometry, ABI, etc.).
- Provide electronic diary and study specific training to patients to ensure safety and study compliancy.
- Clean, sanitize and sterilize instruments, equipment, clinical work area, and exam room furniture according to standard maintenance and infection control policies and procedures.
Outreach & Admin Support
- Follow up with patient leads to support recruitment and retention.
- Schedule and post social media content.
- Design and print flyers for community outreach, as requested.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in biology, clinical/health sciences, or related field.
- Experience working with clinical research participants.
- Familiarity with clinical research principles and GCP.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office; comfort learning CTMS and study portals.
- Excellent written/verbal communication; strong organization and time management.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize in a fast-paced setting.
- Experience with scheduling and posting social media content.

Pay: $33,000.00 - $43,680.00 per year
