Job Summary
Scottsdale Clinical Trials is seeking a reliable and dedicated Site Manager to oversee the operational and administrative aspects of our clinical research studies. This role involves leading all phases of clinical trial execution—from site selection to study close-out—while ensuring regulatory compliance, operational efficiency, and high-quality data collection. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership skills, clinical research experience, and a proactive approach to supporting Phase II–IV studies in a dynamic, patient-focused environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide on-site leadership for the management of multiple clinical trials across different therapeutic areas
- Oversee daily clinical and business operations including budgeting, contracting, and accounts receivable
- Act as a senior liaison between sponsors, monitors, CROs, and internal clinical teams
- Lead patient outreach and recruitment strategies to meet enrollment targets
- Supervise, mentor, and train clinical research coordinators to ensure protocol adherence and high performance
- Conduct and support site assessments, site selection visits, site initiation, monitoring, and close-out activities
- Ensure accurate documentation and compliance with regulatory guidelines (ICH-GCP, FDA, IRB protocols)
- Coordinate and schedule patient visits in collaboration with study staff
- Maintain productive communication with study monitors and sponsors to support current and future research opportunities
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree (BS/BA) required
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in clinical research or medical field (required)
- Medical Assistant (MA) or Certified Phlebotomy Technician (CPT) certification is a plus
- Proven experience as a Clinical Research Coordinator (CRC) with knowledge of regulatory requirements
- Strong organizational, supervisory, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to lead and motivate cross-functional teams in a fast-paced setting
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for sponsor, team, and patient engagement
Preferred Skills
- Previous experience managing multiple Phase II–IV studies
- Budget negotiation and financial oversight in clinical trial settings
- Patient recruitment strategy development and execution
- Familiarity with electronic data capture (EDC) systems and CTMS platforms
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: Up to $70,000.00 per year
