About the role
DNV's Healthcare Division is seeking to fill the role of Clinical Cardiac Surveyor - Certifications. This position can be remote from anywhere in the Continental U.S. (within a 50 mile radius from the nearest regional airport), with travel to customer sites up to 100% of the time.
What You'll Do
The primary function of the Clinical Cardiac Surveyor is to carry out surveys/audits in accordance with the guidelines, principles and written instructions established by DNV Healthcare Inc.
- Survey activity will include hospital patient care units and activities with a focus on the organization s cardiac care services.
- Ensuring that the survey/ audit work is performed in accordance with the quality requirements of the activity, and the procedures governing the activity.
- Plan and execute surveys, report the results of surveys and follow-up, as required, within agreed timescales and economic budgets.
- Where applicable, supervise the work and provide guidance and/or training to other survey team members.
- Inform DNV HC management if the work cannot be performed within the agreed timeframe, or in accordance with agreed requirements and/or economic guidelines.
- Ensure that the independent nature of the survey is not compromised at any time.
- Other duties as assigned by appropriate management.

The actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors, including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and specific location. For the states of California, Washington, New York, Washington, D.C., Illinois, and Maryland only, the starting pay range for this role is $90000- $105000

About you
What is Required:
- Bachelor s degree in Nursing (Master s preferred); or
- Master's degree as a Physician Assistant (PA-C); or
- Bachelor s degree in Perfusion (Master s preferred); or

Current licensure as a Registered Nurse, Physician's Assistant; or
- Current certification as a Perfusionist.
- Minimum of 3 years of dedicated cardiac services experience.

Minimum of 3 years of experience with temporary and durable mechanical circulatory support modalities including but not limited to the following:
- Left ventricular assist devices (LVAD),
- Extracorporeal life support (ECLS),
- Balloon pump (IABP).
- Ability to complete the ISO 9001 QMS Lead Auditor Training, and the NIAHO Surveyor Training Programs.
- Leveraging expertise, skills and knowledge to other cardiac certifications (Heart Failure Program Certification and Chest Pain Program Certification).
- Expectation to travel up to 100% of the time (e.g., manage luggage, travel arrangements).
- Adaptability to flexible work hours.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.)

Physical Abilities:
- Work in settings with infectious diseases
- Ability to adapt to a changing environment and handle multiple priorities.
- Willing and able to walk and stand for long periods of time, walking lengthy distances, lifting, climbing, stooping, pushing, and pulling in order to adequately inspect and observe all medical facilities, equipment and procedures, and any areas where cleanliness may affect the possibility of infection, including areas of a healthcare facility from floor-to-floor either by stairs or elevator.
- Able to lift and carry up to 25 lbs., in addition to transporting one s own luggage and computer for multiple-day travel and push, pull, reach, bend, twist, stoop and kneel with that which is lifted, carried or transported.
- Able to maneuver through airport settings and all other traveling requirements.
