Responsibilities
- Operate CMM machines (e.g., MicroVu, OGP Smartscope) for part inspections
- Interpret engineering drawings and GD&T requirements
- Run and document results from pre-written CMM inspection programs
- Write, edit, and debug CMM programs using software such as InSpec and Zone3
- Perform first article, receiving, in-process, and final inspections
- Maintain detailed inspection records for traceability and audits
- Collaborate with manufacturing, engineering, and quality teams to resolve issues
- Ensure proper calibration and maintenance of measuring equipment
- Support continuous improvement in inspection and QA processes
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Legal authorization to work in the U.S.
- High school diploma or GED required; technical training or associate degree preferred
- 2+ years of hands-on experience with CMM equipment in a manufacturing environment
- Proficiency in reading blueprints and applying GD&T principles
- Experience programming with InSpec and/or Zone3
- Familiarity with SPC, root cause analysis, and inspection documentation
- Skilled in using additional inspection tools (micrometers, calipers, pin gauges, etc.)
- Experience in medical manufacturing a plus
