THE FORUM is recruiting for a hospitality focused Certified Nurse Assistant(C.N.A) to join our Memory Care Team!
Employment Type : Full Time( NOC Shift)
Sign on bonus: $ 1,500
Wage Range : $ 25.00- $30.00
The Certified Nursing Assistant assists the licensed nursing by performing routine nursing duties and activities of daily living for residents in Assisted Living. CNAs is responsible for providing hands on care both physical and emotional as outlined in each resident’s individual service plan.
Here are a few of the daily responsibilities of a C.N.A:
- 1Performs individualized personal care and activities of daily living (ADL) documents ADLs on POC (PCC) and medical file progress notes.
- Participates in the care planning of designated residents and monthly updates.
- Review designated assignments.
- Reports all incidents immediately to Assisted Living Supervisor/Director of Health Services and complete incident reports Form.
- Observes and reports any physical and /or psychosocial changes of conditions.
- Report suspected abuse immediately per state regulations (mandated reporters).
- Obtains documents and reports the resident’s vital signs to Lead Certified Medical Associates and licensed nurse.
- Transfers, transports, and escorts residents as needed.
- Answers emergency pendant alarms promptly.
- Answers direct and / or responds to phone calls in a timely, courteous, and professional manner.
- Helps residents maintain independence; promotes dignity and physical safety of each resident.
- Knowledge of Federal, State, and local resident care regulations.
- Provide treatments, conduct procedures; collect specimens as instructed.
- Reports and records observations and results of treatments, tests, 10. Checks and prepares each dose immediately preceding administration.
Maintain safe and sanitary workstations and equipment. Practices safety procedures always including Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), fire extinguishers
Here are a few of the qualifications we need you to have:
Maintains a valid license certification as Certified Nursing Assistant in the state of California.
High School Degree/GED required.
Ability to understand and follow instructions in English, communicates effectively, and performs simple arithmetic. Ability to document care given.
Basic computer skills.
Demonstrates good judgment, problem solving and decision-making skills.
