Responsibilities
- Perform visual inspection of parts ensuring cosmetic requirements are met.
- Inspect manufactured parts to a PCI and identify dimensional quality issues, problem solving when deviations occur.
- Pursue quality at the source, by quickly identifying issues.
- Follow standard operating procedures and communicating when process or parts are out of specifications.
- Use standard procedures as baseline to drive continuous improvement.
- Take ownership of area, ensuring cleanliness and organization standards are met or exceeded.
- Read and understand all associated program codes, making necessary offsets and adjustments to produce parts within defined specifications.
- Complete all necessary documentation and data entry.
Qualifications
- A High School Diploma or GED equivalent required. 1 year of experience in manufacturing in a fast-paced production environment is required. Equivalency to the qualification standard will also be considered.
- Experience in use and selection of proper inspection tools (micrometers, calipers, dial indicator, refractometer) preferred.
- Strong communication and problem-solving capability in identifying issues and pursuing root cause.
- Emphasis on quality, ensuring all parts meet identified specifications and communicating when parts deviate from standard and understand why the deviation occurred.
- Ability to work both independently with limited supervision, and in a collaborative team environment.

Able to work in a manufacturing environment (exposure to dust, noise, oils and coolants, abrasives, heat, cold, adhesives, as well as automated and manual machinery).
Able to stand for entire shift; lift up to 30lbs repetitively, 50 lbs. occasionally.
Able to work both 8 & 10 hour shifts, with overtime as required.
