As a CNC Operator, you will play a crucial role in fabricating high-quality components while ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Operate CNC machines to produce precision parts according to specifications.
- Set up and adjust machines for optimal performance and efficiency.
- Perform quality control checks using tools such as micrometers and calipers to ensure accuracy.
- Interpret technical drawings and blueprints to fabricate components accurately.
- Conduct routine maintenance on machinery to ensure proper functioning.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues that may arise during the machining process.
- Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines.
Skills
- Proficient in operating CNC machinery, with experience in Fanuc systems preferred.
- Strong understanding of machining processes and techniques.
- Excellent mechanical knowledge, enabling effective troubleshooting and problem-solving.
- Familiarity with quality control processes and standards in manufacturing.
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents, including blueprints and schematics.
- Experience using precision measuring instruments such as micrometers and calipers.
- Strong attention to detail, ensuring high-quality output consistently.
