Collections/Billing specialist. You will handle the processing of incoming payments and formulate a system for making collections in a timely manner. No coding required.
Great Monday through Friday daytime hours, leave at 3:00pm on Friday's. Relatively low-stress office.
Starting pay negotiable higher, with chiropractic collection experience.
Some college preferred.
Responsibilities
- Post bills, receipts and invoices
- Ensure all payers remain informed on their outstanding debts and deadlines
- Write thorough reports on billing activity with clear and reliable data.
- Backup for full-time therapy person.
Skills
- Proven experience as billing/collections specialist
- Adherence to HIPAA laws and best practices in regard to dealing with customers and data
- Comfortable dealing with numbers and the processing of financial information
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office (particularly Excel) and Electronic Medical Records software
- Proficiency in English
- High degree of attention to detail, trustworthiness and attendance record
