POSITION SUMMARY
As a Comfort Advisor at To the T Plumbing & Heating, LLC, you will play a pivotal role in driving our residential HVAC sales. This consultative position involves engaging with homeowners to assess their heating and cooling needs, presenting tailored solutions, and guiding them through the decision-making process. Your expertise will ensure customers receive optimal comfort solutions while contributing to the company's growth and reputation for excellence.

OBJECTIVES
- Conduct thorough assessments of customers' homes to determine HVAC needs.
- Develop and present personalized HVAC proposals that align with customer requirements and budget.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of HVAC products, services, and industry trends to effectively educate customers.
- Achieve and exceed sales targets through effective lead conversion and upselling strategies.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, ensuring a high level of satisfaction and fostering repeat business.
- Work closely with installation and service teams to ensure seamless project execution and customer satisfaction.
- Engage in timely follow-ups with potential and existing customers to address questions and close sales.
- Accurately record all sales activities, customer interactions, and transactions in the CRM system.
- Participate in ongoing training and development opportunities to enhance sales techniques and product knowledge.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- High school diploma or GED required; associate or bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years in in-home sales, preferably within the HVAC industry. Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with HVAC systems and terminology is advantageous.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Ability to drive frequently to customer homes or job sites (often with a valid driver's license and clean driving record).
- Comfortable working in different environments (residential homes, sometimes attics, basements, or crawl spaces).
- May need to climb ladders, access attics, or crouch in crawlspaces during home assessments.
- Ability to carry light equipment like tablets, notebooks, or small tools (generally less than 25 lbs).
- May spend extended periods standing, walking, or moving throughout a home or property during consultations.
- Must have good visual acuity for reading documents, interpreting system data, and identifying home system components.
- Good hearing to communicate clearly with clients in various home settings.
- Should be able to work in various weather conditions (heat, cold, humidity), especially if walking around homes or checking outdoor HVAC units.
- Capable of working evenings or weekends, depending on client schedules.
