We’re looking for reliable, detail-oriented cleaners to join our growing team. You’ll work independently or with a partner to clean residential and light commercial properties. Every job is a little different, so you’ll need to be flexible, professional, and ready to roll up your sleeves.
We are seeking a Cleaner to join our team at Friendly Neighborhood Cleaners. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and organization within facilities, contributing to a safe and welcoming environment.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine cleaning tasks to ensure a clean and organized workspace.
- Maintain cleanliness in all areas including offices, restrooms, and common areas.
- Use appropriate cleaning supplies and equipment safely and effectively.
- Report any maintenance or repair needs to management promptly.
- Assist in maintaining inventory of cleaning supplies.
- Perform standard, deep, move-in/out, or post-construction cleaning depending on the job
- Clean and disinfect bathrooms, kitchens, living spaces, and offices
- Vacuum, sweep, mop, and dust all assigned areas
- Remove trash, cobwebs, and other debris
- Spot clean walls, windowsills, doors, and high-touch areas
- Follow cleaning checklists and job notes provided by dispatch
- Communicate any issues, damages, or supply needs promptly
- Represent Friendly Neighborhood Cleaners with professionalism, punctuality, and care
Requirements
- Proven experience in custodial or commercial cleaning preferred.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Good communication skills and ability to follow instructions.
- Prior cleaning experience preferred (residential, commercial, or janitorial)
- Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and be on your feet for several hours
- Access to a smartphone for job communication and scheduling
- Strong attention to detail and time management
- Friendly, respectful attitude with clients and teammates

Pay: $18.81 - $25.89 per hour
