Job Summary:
We are seeking a proactive and results-driven Business Development professional to support the growth of our company by identifying and securing new project opportunities. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys connecting with people, building relationships, and actively pursuing new business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and research potential clients and upcoming commercial construction projects.
- Initiate contact with prospective clients via phone, email, and networking.
- Schedule and attend meetings to present company capabilities and gather project information.
- Maintain a pipeline of leads and follow up consistently to convert them into active clients.
- Collaborate with internal teams to prepare proposals and marketing materials.
- Track outreach and client engagement activities using CRM tools or tracking systems.
Qualifications:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Highly motivated, organized, and able to work independently.
- Comfortable making cold calls and sending outreach emails.
- Previous experience in business development, sales, or commercial construction is a plus but not required.
Preferred Skills:
- Basic understanding of the construction industry.
- Experience with CRM software or similar tools.
- Ability to read or understand construction plans (a plus).
