As a Commercial HVAC Installer Technician, you’ll play a critical role in installing, maintaining, and replacing commercial HVAC systems for clients with a national presence. Working remotely in and around Cincinnati, OH, you’ll collaborate with a robust support team to deliver precision installations, routine maintenance, and exceptional service. With the tools and resources provided, you’ll thrive in a dynamic, rewarding environment.
Key Responsibilities- Install, service, and maintain commercial HVAC systems, including precise pipefitting, brazing, and soldering.
- Perform routine maintenance and replace parts to ensure system efficiency.
- Troubleshoot issues during installation, ensuring high-quality outcomes.
- Adhere to safety protocols, environmental, health, security, and fire protection regulations.
- Deliver outstanding customer service, addressing client concerns with professionalism.
- Collaborate with team members, including dispatchers and supervisors, to meet project deadlines.
- Provide observations and recommendations to enhance system performance.
- Complete paperwork accurately and in a timely manner.
- Work independently with minimal supervision, adapting to various HVAC systems and technologies.
- Competitive Hourly Rate: $30–$40/hour ($62,400–$83,200 annually).
- Overtime Opportunities: Authorized with supervisor approval.
- Travel Perks: $55 daily per diem and lodging provided for authorized out-of-town travel.
- Paid Time Off: Start with 48 hours, increasing to 168 hours with tenure.

- 3–5 years of demonstrated experience in commercial HVAC system replacement installations.
- EPA Certification (required).
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel/drive to client locations for training, meetings, or events (reimbursement provided).
- Ability to pass drug, background, and driver’s license checks.
- Willingness to meet enhanced security clearance requirements.
- Physical ability to climb/descend ladders carrying up to 30 lbs., lift up to 75 lbs., and work in confined spaces (e.g., crawlspaces, attics).
- Commitment to wearing required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Flexibility to work overtime and travel as needed.
- Strong technical proficiency in HVAC systems, including electrical and mechanical components.
- Expertise in pipefitting, brazing, and soldering for refrigerant piping.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve installation issues efficiently.
- Keen attention to detail for precise measurements and fittings.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Strong time management to meet project deadlines.
- Adaptability to work with various HVAC systems, brands, and technologies.
- Familiarity with industry software (preferred but not required).
- Commitment to safety and compliance with internal/external regulations.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Completion of a relevant apprenticeship is a plus.
