As a Volunteer Coordinator, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a systematic process for managing volunteers, court-ordered community service, and job placement participants. This includes recruitment, training, retention, and recognition of our dedicated volunteers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Volunteer Management: Recruit, train, and retain diverse individuals and group volunteers who share our core values and mission. Recognize and support the talent needed to carry out our organization's goals.
- Community Engagement: Develop strong relationships with community members and create well-rounded partnerships to secure in-kind support through our Donation Drive Program.
- Program Development: Implement and improve processes for volunteer management, ensuring a seamless experience for all participants.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the Executive Director, Director of Programs, and Development Director to support marketing materials and donor relations.
- Workforce Development: Make a difference by supporting individuals in our Job Preparedness Program. Support them as they grow and develop new skills.
- Impact: Make a tangible difference by empowering volunteers and fostering a supportive community environment.

Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent combination of education + experience
- Experience: 1-3 years minimum experience in volunteer management or related field
- Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office, Teams; excellent verbal and written communication skills; demonstrated organizational and time management skills; bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
