Compliance Officer – 4-Month Contract

We are hiring a Compliance Officer for a 4-month assignment with a government agency in Orlando. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, experience working with the public, and the ability to interpret Florida statutes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Contact complainants to discuss case details
- Analyze complaints against applicable Florida statutes
- Provide clear explanations regarding case outcomes and agency jurisdiction
- Offer referrals or additional resources when appropriate
- Draft and send approved written correspondence
- Close cases using internal systems (Versa, OnBase) and proper coding
Qualifications:
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to read and interpret Florida statutes
- Experience working with the public in a professional setting
- Excellent organizational skills
- Commitment to completing the full assignment term
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $30.00 - $38.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
