Job Summary:
TRC Concrete, a HUB and Veteran-Owned company, is actively seeking Owner Operators with their own concrete mixer trucks to join our delivery team. We supply high-demand ready-mix concrete for major construction projects throughout Houston and surrounding areas. Join a reliable dispatch network with consistent work and competitive rates.
Key Responsibilities:
- Transport and deliver ready-mix concrete to job sites efficiently and safely
- Ensure product quality and slump consistency per job specifications
- Maintain truck cleanliness and mechanical readiness
- Complete accurate delivery tickets and time logs
- Represent TRC Concrete with professionalism and reliability on-site
- Communicate with dispatch for routing and scheduling
Requirements:
- Must own and operate a DOT-compliant concrete mixer truck (front or rear discharge)
- CDL Class A or B with air brake endorsement
- Active DOT medical certificate
- Commercial auto liability insurance (minimum requirements provided upon inquiry)
- Minimum 1 year of ready-mix delivery or related driving experience
- Strong focus on safety, quality, and customer service
Preferred:
- Experience with federal, city, or commercial construction deliveries
- Familiarity with concrete mix handling, slump adjustment, and plant ticket procedures
- TWIC card or security clearance access (preferred but not required)
- Bilingual skills (English/Spanish) helpful
