Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Construction Project Manager to oversee and manage construction projects from inception to completion. Work on sites to help with completion of work. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in construction management, project coordination, and scheduling, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within scope, and in accordance with quality standards. This role requires strong leadership abilities, excellent communication skills, and a thorough understanding of construction processes and methodologies.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage all phases of construction projects, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets.
- Develop project schedules using Primavera P6 and other construction management software.
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and clients to ensure project specifications are met.
- Utilize ProCore for project documentation and communication among stakeholders.
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, address issues, and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Oversee the preparation of construction estimates using HeavyBid and manage contracts effectively.
- Review blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure accurate project execution.
- Implement effective time management strategies to optimize workflow and resource allocation.
- Facilitate project meetings to discuss progress updates, challenges, and solutions with team members.
Experience
- Proven experience as a Construction Project Manager or in a similar role within the construction industry.
- Proficiency in construction estimating software such as HeavyBid and familiarity with Civil 3D for design purposes.
- Strong knowledge of project management principles, including project scheduling and coordination techniques.
- Experience with blueprint reading and understanding of construction contracts is essential.
- Familiarity with industry-standard software such as Bluebeam for document management is preferred.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
